The Wall Street Journal editorial page points out the hypocrisy of Senator Dodd calling for the the Treasury to get to the bottom of the bonus debacle while he still hasn’t fulfilled his promise to release documents related to is Countrywide sweetheart mortgage deal.

As the editorial concludes:

Rare is the politician who could clear his name overnight and chooses not to.

Senator Dodd doesn’t strike me as a rare politician.

The Hartford Courant also called for him to come clean but got a non-answer when they asked hm if he would.
